The Rochester Americans ELITE Training camp is an intensive development week specifically designed for advanced players. This pro style training camp will incorporate NHL, AHL and Division I College drills that will push and challenge top players to their limits. Players will be coached in power skating, scoring, defensive play, positional play, checking, shooting, passing and high skill development. Off-ice training at this camp plays a major role in the curriculum. Intensive speed, strength and core training is utilized throughout the week.
In addition, mental and game preparation techniques will be taught. In this unique camp, players will be exposed to the identical training that a pro player would use in the NHL and AHL. They will learn the committment, dedication and discipline needed to achieve their goals - whatever they may be.

"Camp was great! We worked hard doing lots of different drills. There were always plenty of pucks and shooting. The instructors were great and they always kept it fun. It really helped get me ready for the season."
"I really enjoyed the Americans ELITE camp because both on-the-ice and off-the-ice drills were always challenging. It was a lot of hard work but also fun at the same time. The lunch was really good too. I want to join the ELITE camp again next year."
"The camp was well organized all the way through. The report card at the end of the camp was really detailed and helpful. The camp was worth every penny. See you next year at the camp....."
"I thought the camp was outstanding. It was organized, challenging and not to mention a lot of fun. My son always hopes that his team would work together to win challenges (best team). I thought the camp was the best camp I ever attended . . . The dry land was fun and also challenging. I like how we had two ice sessions. The counselors also made it fun by instructing us on new drills. I can't wait to attend next year."
"The Amerks youth ELITE camp is designed to attract kids that want to experience a level of hockey that is higher than that of a camp for standard house players. The focus is one where the travel player that is accustomed to a more intense level of practice, both on and off the ice. My son enjoyed the experience. He continually talks about it with FULL intentions of attending again."
